I had an engaging conversation recently with someone I just met, about the work we do and our calling in life. Do you enjoy your work, are you living up to your calling, your mission / purpose. Does it give you energy and passion that you feel alive doing what you do; that it adds meaning and gives a sense of fulfillment to your life. If not, that's ok. Take your time to find out what it is. Never too old to start a new! If you’re called to be an educator, then no matter the struggle, you’ll find joy in it for sharing your knowledge. If you have passion for animals and their welfare, what you do matters for them. That gives you a sense of purpose and fulfillment! If you have a passion for cooking, or baking, you’re bringing the love of food to others and filling their tummies. There’s a sense of purpose in that. If you’re a healer, seeing others healed brings a sense of accomplishment/joy and that’s what you’re called to do. The list goes on.. Go slow, keep seeking and don’t give up. The light bulb only came on for me when I was in my 30s, and I would never forget that day, that event and the people I met ( I cant remember their names unfortunately but I remember they were Christian couple counselors). It was a life changing moment for me ever since and I do hope you find yours. https://www.lifehack.org/articles/communication/7-powerful-questions-find-out-what-you-want-with-your-life.html?
